My Students

My students thoroughly enjoy learning Science by "playing" with hands-on activities, so I try and provide as many as possible in my classroom.

My students are a highly inquisitive and motivated group of 9th and 12th-grade Science students.

We are a comprehensive public charter high school located in Southern California. My students are always motivated by real-world applications of what we are learning, and I try as best I can to provide them with the opportunities to learn from hands-on activities.

My Project

A large number of my students ride their bikes to school on a daily basis and many of them of the bikes are in dire need of basic maintenance and repairs. I would like to be able to teach a group of motivated students how to do the basics of bike repair and how to maintain bikes in order for them to help other students.

These bike repair materials and tools will allow me to assist my students in setting up and running a bike repair station for our high school campus.

I can envision these materials being used for years to come.
