My Students

I teach Grade 3 students at a progressive public school in Washington Heights / Inwood section of Manhattan. We share 55 students among 2 classrooms teaching our students through experiential learning. We use hands-on projects and STEM challenges that allow students to learn by actively engaging in activities that put their knowledge to use.

Ipads will allow the students to create algorithms by dragging and dropping visual code blocks, which help them undersand what their robots will do, when and why.

Students can also program the robots to do multiple tasks.

My Project

Coding with iPads is the best way for students to experience real-world of computer science situations. For example, the workplace is a collaborative environment that requires teamwork, critical thinking, creativity and the ability to work independently.

Teaching our students coding and robotics, programming concepts become tangible and intuitive.

Eager, passionate and innovative describes my students, who are motivated to plunge themselves in any kind of challenge.

My students love to code! By learning robotics and creating algorithms for robots on the iPad, will better prepare them for college and life as productive members of the workplace. The most fun way to foster coding skills is through robotics using an iPad.
