Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school is a place of dedicated learners. My students are a fantastic group of energetic kids who want to learn! Students come ready for school daily.

Most students are from a low-income community at our school, and over 75% of them receive free or reduced-price lunches.

Over 60% of them speak a language at home that is not English. I want them to feel loved! My students are engaged and want to learn about everything.

I want to celebrate Lunar New Year in glowing style!

I am requesting glow sticks, light up glasses, party supplies and more. I hope that my students will to inspired to learn even more after this exciting day. I know that this will be a day they will never forget!

A few of my students might feel encouraged to share about their own Lunar New Year traditions because we are celebrating them and their culture.
