My Project

Our FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team is in the middle of Build Season. We have until our competition at the end of March to design, build, program, and practice with the robot. We want to ensure that we arrive at the event with a robot and a team that is ready to compete. Some of our most crucial tools either need replacing.

Having access to these tools will mean the difference between finishing the bot with enough time for students to code and practice with it.

Getting a vice for the drill press will ensure that precision holes match up correctly. A new band saw with its own dedicated stand will replace the very useful band saw that we had but that stopped working because of the table not being suitable for it. And the belt sander will replace one that was damaged due to construction issues over the summer.

Build Season is passing by more quickly than we realized, and each one of these tools will help us make the best of the time we have left before we compete!
