My Project

I teach a class called Harbor Studies. My students learn through project-based and place-based learning, and the students absolutely love building and creating things. These battery-powered wooden STEM kits are a perfect way to spark their interest and get their creative juices flowing. With multiple designs in each kit, each student can build something unique that they are really proud of. Later in the year, we build solar-powered circuits and create inventions from scratch to begin tackling the very real climate and energy problems affecting our neighborhood. These STEM kits are a great introduction to the independent engineering skills they will develop later on.

Following written instructions, understanding circuitry, troubleshooting problems, using tools, decorating their creations.... the list goes on of the skills these kits will require of the students.

I can't wait to see all these little gadgets bobbling and bouncing around my classroom!
