Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our 3K and Pre-K classes, we have 40-50 adorable and enthusiastic students who love to learn through play. One type of play that we focus on each day is Gross Motor Play! Every day, our students come ready and happy when they have the chance to come to our gross motor room. They are curious about the world around them and they love to learn!

The specific items will help make a difference in their learning:

The Balancing beam and the stepping stones will help students develop on their balancing skills. The Soccer net and early years toss will help students develop their kicking and throwing skills. The poly spots and cones will help support students on where they need to stand in the gym. The jump ropes and hopscotch game will help students develop on their jumping, hopping and skipping skills!

The goals that I have for this project are the following: To develop our students' gross motor skills, to expand on their knowledge on what they are learning about and to have fun! The specific items I am requesting will make it easier for students to develop on their gross motor skills and to have some new equipment that students can enjoy!
