Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are opening a Light Center and Cozy Corner in our classroom and need your help! The light table and cozy corner will be great additions to our classroom. The Light Center will encourage the development of a wide range of skills, including fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, pre-writing skills, color recognition, and more! Our students will be able to do math patterns with bricks, cubes, sorting with fruits and vegetables, and also explore animals and human x-rays.

Our Cozy Corner will allow our young learners to self regulate themselves by controlling their own emotions and behavior over time.

This is why we are asking for a nook for our cozy corner, which will include cozy cubes and an area rug.

This nook will serve as a safe, designated spot in the classroom where students can go to regroup when they are experiencing strong emotions or simply need a break. Helps us light up our light center and make our Cozy Corner a cozy space for our students. Let's Go Explorers!
