Help me give my students calming sensory room items that include See-Inside Activity balls, sensory slime, feeling emotions dough mats, and Pop Play Sensory Dimpl.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These calming sensory room resources will provide my students the opportunity to regulate their sensory needs and refocus their attention on their classwork.
I am happy to provide my students with calm strips for their desks, slime and feelings dough mats to regulate their mood during the day, and see inside the sensory balls.
This year has been overwhelming for my students and these resources will help them with their social-emotional needs while transitioning back into the classroom.
The sensory swing and stand will give the students compression for those that need that sensory input. The various types of lights will help calm and relax the students.
