My Students

My 4th grade students come eager to learn every day and deserve the best education possible. They come from all different backgrounds, however they all have one common goal- TO LEARN!

Distant learning has sent many of in the education world into uncharted waters, including myself.

When we are able to come back to the building many of our students did not. They still learned virtually. This means many of my students have not been in the school building since March 13,2020!

My Project

Bouncy bands are designed to let students, especially those who are inclined to fidget, move a little without disrupting the class. The slight motion allows them to stay on task while not having to sit perfectly still. These bouncy bands will be very helpful in my classroom, since my students are expected to sit for long periods of time. Also many of my students will be walking into the classroom after almost a full year and a half from doing school virtually. Many students who have trouble sitting still for extended periods of time often get restless and off task. Bouncy bands will give my students a way to move in some way and still complete their work and/or listen to the teacher.
