Help Us Achieve Our Sound!

Help me give my students a new mixer console so they may be set up for success in their marching band performances in the coming years.

My Project

The marching band landscape of 2024 is VASTLY different than it was 20, 10, or even 5 years ago. With competitive bands utilizing sound systems that rival that of some professional productions, the need to change with the times is greater than ever in order for students to perform at their very best.

The sound system for our marching band is ten years behind other bands in our same class.

Our mixing board is over 20 years old at this point and is completely out of its league with what we need to use it for. My students suffer the consequences of this equipment in their performances, as they are unable to sound comparable to other groups that are in our same competitive class.

My goal with this project is to update our mixer to bring our band program into the modern marching landscape with other bands we see on a weekly basis. This equipment will instill a sense of pride in the students, as they will finally feel like we are on the same level as groups they look up to.

My students work extremely hard to be the best they can be. They are out in the Florida heat for hours at a time practicing, marching, learning dance techniques, and drumming just to improve and put on a great performance week after week, they deserve to have the best equipment available to them. It is my hope that I can give that to them through this project.
