My Project

We have the pleasure of working with students who come from diverse backgrounds. However, they are often high-need students from low-income families. They are a motivated and energetic bunch that love to learn. Students are eager to research topics they are learning about and love using their typing skills to publish their works. Currently, we do not have any laptops in the classroom and are limited to borrowing them from another class once a week. We are lucky to have digital resources provided by the school but students have limited access to those resources because of our lack of laptops.

These new laptops will allow my students to have access to a device to complete their online assignments and tasks in the classroom.

Laptops support students working both with others and independently which will help them stay engaged and enjoy the content we are learning. I have seen how laptops can positively affect my student's work. Please help support our classroom!
