Help Ms. Israel

Our school is a large, urban, Title I elementary schools. Almost all of our students are new immigrants to our country. They are hard working and enthusiastic students who lack the resources at home. Our library is very old and out of date. The average copyright date of the books in our collection is 1996. These books would bring new and exciting titles to my students and keep them coming back for more books!

My students come every day to get a new "Goosebumps" book. These books are very motivating and make the students want to stretch themselves as readers. Our public library is far away, so our school library must be able to support our students reading needs.

Students become better readers by reading. We seek to put as many books into the lives of our students as possible. With these books, our library will become a more attractive, inviting place for our students. (A lot scarier too!)
