I am a third grade teacher working in Brooklyn. So far, my class and I have had a successful year creating a great library area. Unfortunately, we have run out of space for our books. Our bookshelves are filled to capacity. I have resorted to buying baskets but they end up on the floor because there is no space left to put them. If we had one more bookshelf and a file cart for folders the students would have plenty of room to place our new books on the shelf. Due to lack of space, I have had to use a shelf to store student folders. I realize that a small cart would be better for storing student folders. I think a portable cart would help to keep student portfolios more organized. I know that my students would take more pride in their work if they could view their projects easily and if they were readily available to them. Not to mention, the visits from principals and supervisors who come in to check work folders would run more smoothly. I would really appreciate your HELP in rescuing our books from the floor and getting us organized.
