My Project

Many of my students this year have diagnoses of dysgraphia which make it challenging for them to produce and organize written work. I'm seeking out additional professional development opportunities to gain a better understanding of this disability and how to best serve my students.

Specifically, I'm looking for innovative interventions, using fine and visual motor training and assistive technology, to both maximize my students' skills while also providing them with individualized assistive technology to help them achieve their full potential.

Dysgraphia also often co-occurs with other diagnoses such as ADHD, dyslexia, and anxiety -- this training will explore ways of recognizing and supporting students through each of those conditions.
