My Project
I am a first-year special education teacher in a brand-new classroom. My students have high support needs and need assistance in academic, communication, and motor skills. I serve kindergarten through second-grade students with a variety of disabilities.
The supplies in my project will help to build task boxes, file folders, and sensory bins to help my students build and improve their skills.
These supplies will help me build workboxes for each of my students in order to promote independence.
Task boxes and file folders are helpful to differentiate activities catered to each student individually to work on skills such as matching, reading, spelling, and fine motor skills. Sensory bins, such as sandboxes are great for students because it help them to explore different textures and gain
