My Project

I am a Special Education teacher in a Third Grade Integrated Co-Teach Class where there are Special Education students learning alongside General Education students. Our school consists of culturally and linguistically diverse students within a low socioeconomic community.

I want to welcome students back to an inviting classroom and be able to give them the supplies they need to have a great year!

My goal is to set up a classroom where the students are able to be engaged, able to learn, and able to express themselves.

I would like to ensure that all my students have all the supplies that they need to have a great year waiting for them. This has been a difficult year for the community and most parents will not be able to purchase the supplies that their children need to return to school.

Supplies such as notebooks, pencils, crayons, markers, and sharpeners would make them feel confident and prepared for school. Supplies such as folders and pencil cases would help them be organized.
