My Project

My students are becoming writers. I love reading their poems and other forms of writing. Unfortunately, I cannot always give them all the tools/materials they need to develop their creative writing skills. My students need basic writing supplies that I cannot provide alone. Sometimes students would like to draw or paint a picture to help their character or setting come to life, but because of a lack of supplies, they cannot do so. Therefore, I have to ask unselfish people like you for help. Please help me give my students writing tools/materials such as markers, colored and regular pencils, jell pens, highlighters, erasers, and writing and printing paper to help improve their writing skills. The students will need markers, colored and regular pencils, jell pens, highlighters, erasers, and writing and printing paper to become better writers. These young writers will discover their voices. They will use their poems and other writings to help them express and cope with some of their struggles. Students will find and show in their poetry and other writing forms that their writings are like rhythm, melody, and joy using the materials you donate to them. They will find that reading and writing poetry and other forms of writing is a platform for improving speaking, listening, and building relationships with others. They will discover a world filled with colors of different hues in their markers and colored pencils you give to them. When you donate markers, colored and regular pencils, jell pens, highlighters, erasers, and writing and printing paper to my students, you are helping make a difference in their ability to use these materials to express themselves in their writing and drawings. I appreciate any help you can provide, and I thank you in advance.
