My Project

**Empowering Our Students Through Fitness: Help Us Build Strength Together**

At RHS, a Title I low-income school, we strive to equip our students with the skills, confidence, and habits to lead healthy, active lives.

Our physical education department plays a pivotal role in this mission, yet limited funding prevents us from providing the essential tools for our students to truly thrive.

We are seeking funding for a Smith workout machine, a versatile and safe piece of equipment that will transform our gym into a hub of strength and fitness. This machine will allow students of all fitness levels to engage in guided weightlifting and resistance training, helping them develop physical strength, discipline, and self-esteem. Beyond physical health, these skills foster mental resilience, improve focus, and instill lifelong habits of wellness.

Our goal is to create a dynamic physical education program that meets every student where they are, empowering them to set and achieve personal goals. The Smith machine is a stepping stone toward offering a diverse range of fitness opportunities that are often only accessible in well-funded schools.

What makes our students special is their resilience, determination, and potential. Many of them face challenges outside the classroom, yet they come to school ready to learn, grow, and achieve. By investing in their health and fitness, you’re giving them tools that extend far beyond the gym—you're helping them build stronger futures.
