My Project

I am a speech/language pathologist in Poudre School District. Our district has implemented a new language arts curriculum this year. Students with speech/language disability need help accessing the vocabulary and concepts in their new curriculum. I am proposing to obtain copies of the trade books from our district's new curriculum so that I can both embed students' therapy targets within high-quality literature and also provide my students with additional scaffolding during shared reading in speech/languag therapy sessions so that they can better participate in discussions around these texts in their classrooms.
