Help Students Stay Off Their Phones!

Help me give my students 5 Numworks Calculators. Our school is moving to a No Cell Phone policy and we don't have enough calculators. I would like to start collecting sets of 5 for student use.

My Project

The Numworks Calculators are an amazing device with great access. Currently students have downloaded the Numworks app and use the calculator on their phone. Our district is moving to a No Cell Phone policy which impacts my mathematics classrooms because students will not be able to access their phones. I teach and an extremely diverse, low-income school with some of the most amazing and resilient students ever. The students here deserve the best and often do not get it. I would like to slowly build a class set so students can use the same calculator in the classroom that then can then use at home. Currently we have some TI -84s in the classroom but the district has cut the budgets so much that we cannot afford to buy the batteries to keep them running. There is also so accompanying app that works like the TI-84s. Please consider donating to support students engaged in mathematics.

Numworks graphing calculators are more intuitive to use than other graphing calculators, and by switching students won't need to memorize complex keystrokes or constantly adjust viewing windows.

These tests recently became test approved which means they can be utilized during SAT, ACT, and AP Tests which will impact student stress during the test and could open more doors/opportunities if they are able to use calculators they are comfortable with.
