My Students

I am very fortunate to be able to teach and help shape an amazing group of transitional kindergarten students! The diversity of socioeconomic backgrounds among these students make our classroom a great environment for many of their first school experience.

Their excitement and eagerness to learn inspire me to seek out new and fun ways to instill learning in our classroom.

They are an energetic, fun, and bright group of children who absorb new information and skills like a sponge. It is my goal to provide them with the best first introduction to school that I can, and offer them a variety of materials to spark their interest and instill a love of learning!

My Project

Scholastic's "My Big World" print and digital magazines for young learners provides students with an interactive and engaging way to explore the world around them! They offer kids a chance to build connections to things they already know, while also providing new information on familiar topics. Furthermore, they help to build knowledge in a fun and exciting way!

"My Big World" magazines will help to enrich my curriculum and are FILLED with fun facts for my little learners!

They give insight to various creative ideas for hands-on learning, which is an essential part of my TK curriculum. The digital magazines incorporate videos and games that get students excited to learn. These online resources promote active learning and are great tools for family engagement, especially at a time when my students are doing the majority of their learning at home!
