My Project

First grade is a special year since all of the kids are learning their foundational skills that will carry them through their educational careers. First graders are highly motivated to work for both compliments as well as rewards from the treasure box. In order to keep the kids excited about the treasure box, we need to have some good rewards such as slap bracelets, mochis, sensory rings, rainbow scratch notebooks, and mini magnetic etch a sketches. The All About Me posters will be used to highlight a student of the week every week in our classroom to make each of our students feel valued and special.

Writing on an LCD tablet is more motivating and exciting for a first grader than a notebook and pencil which will in turn get our students more excited about writing and practicing their foundational skills.

We also need the Sharpie pens and highlighters to draw a guide on differentiated worksheets to help our student write between the lines. We also are in need of the sensory rings, sensory stickers, and bandaids to help prevent our students from picking at their fingers. We need the Bandaids of course because they are always running out and everyone knows that a bandaid can fix everything! Our push lights will be used in addition to a classroom management chart that we have in our room to provide children with a visual. Our goal is to help every child in our class progress and reach the goals that we have set for them. We cannot thank you enough for your help and donations!
