My Project

Hello, I teach in a Title 1 Middle School that provides all of my students with musical instruments. A large amount of our violins are quite old and while they are still great instruments, the bows that are with them are not in good shape and some instruments have no bows at all. Overtime bows need to be rehaired as they slowly shed their hairs and over time the bows have less and less hair. The new bows that would be funded through this project will be able to be used for many years and will make it easier for students to make a quality sound and find joy in their instruments with the hope of encouraging them to play for many years to come.
