My Project

I teach 53 refugee and immigrant students in a severely underfunded and understaffed Title 1 school in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I have taught at my school for three years and during those three years my students have shown unprecedented growth on their state testing and English proficiency testing! My students need a safe and fun environment to learn in and this project would help support that! Many of my students have emotional needs as well as physical needs and I know this items would create a welcoming environment for them as they learn a new language and culture!
