Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are eager to learn and are full of thoughtful questions. This year, we are in a blended learning situation. My classroom in the Bronx has students from a variety of backgrounds with so many different learning styles.

This year more than ever, I want to build a classroom with a strong sense of community where everyone supports each other.

We are all experiencing blended learning for the first time and I want my students to have the supplies they need whether they are learning at home or in my classroom.

My Project

In September, my students received supplies to help them with a blended learning school year. Now that we are halfway through, many markers have dried up and pencils have been lost.

With this project, my students will have the markers and pencils they need to be successful learners in this ever-changing school year.

They will also have materials to keep their dry erase boards in good condition as well and erasers to keep them going.

The dry erase boards make it so easy for students at home to share their work on the camera and make in-school learning more fun!
