Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are fun, loving, and creative little second graders! They love to draw, design, create and use their imagination. We are headed into a new fractured fairy tale unit where they have to develop, write, illustrate and create a game based on their fairy tale!

These materials will help foster their love of learning while being creative.

With the crafting supplies, the students will be able to draw, color and create 3D figures to go with their fairy tale stories. With these materials, they will be able to easily put their imagination to use and make their writing come alive. In my ICT/ESL classroom, my students learn best when being visual and hands on. The writing desks will also help my students of different learning styles prosper as they wont be confined to their desk or writing on the floor.

Our classroom is also working towards FUN FRIDAYS! With the board games, magnatiles and blocks my students will be able to effectively use their team work strategies to create designs and build what ever comes to mine!

With the help of the TPT gift cards, we will quickly be able to purchase phonics supplies to help our students with reading and writing.
