My Project

I am seeking support to provide essential hands-on learning tools for middle schoolers who are struggling to read. These tools will make a significant difference in their learning by enhancing their ability to focus and apply tactile and visual supports, allowing them to break down and segment words effectively. This step-by-step approach will help them build the confidence and skills they need to read fluently. My goal is to equip these students with items like games, reading toys, and flash cards. These students have not received sufficient literacy education with the resources they need to enter high school prepared and ready to succeed. These students are special because they come from a low socio-economic area where access to quality educational tools is limited. Unlike peers in other zip codes, they have not been given the same opportunities to excel in reading, and that’s why I’m asking for your help to fill this critical gap. By donating, you’ll be giving these young minds a fighting chance to do well in school, build relationships, and eventually secure gainful employment.
