My Project

The use of hands-on materials is a luxury that my students absolutely love using during daily learning activities! I am requesting large sand buckets to create "Summer Fun" buckets for each of my 18 students to provide an opportunity for continuous learning to occur throughout the summer. I will stuff each bucket with play doh, a bubble wand, a coloring book, a pair of sunglasses, a pack of sidewalk chalk, a reusable cup, and snacks.

With this project, I hope to send my students home with hands-on materials to encourage them extend their learning while they are away from school during our upcoming summer break.

I hope that my special students will use these materials to continue learning in fun and engaging ways in the comfort of their home atmospheres. I also hope that these materials will encourage my students to spend time outside and enjoy the warm weather during our break!
