My Students

Do you remember the first time you saw a butterfly?

I teach Pre-Kindergarten to eighteen wonderful children in the New York Area.

Many of these children come from low income families and do not get a chance to participate in many activities other children there age get to do. These children are so fun loving and the smiles on there faces when you surprise them with something is priceless.

My Project

My children need live butterflies to watch and learn about the life cycle of a butterfly. They will be able to keep daily journals and draw and write about the process a butterfly goes through. The books that we requested will help us with this theme and lead in other themes about different life cycles.

You will make it possible for the children in my class to have a visual aid and learn hands-on about the life cycle of a butterfly.
