My Students

I am lucky to teach Pre-K with 4- and 5-year olds! I work in a Title I school in Richmond, Va. My students are amazing!

I want my students to see themselves as explorers and creative thinkers!

This project is focused on giving them the tools they will benefit from in a virtual setting.

My Project

Having manipulatives for students to work with is essential for all learners, but especially Pre-K Scholars! They will be able to build on concepts such as more and less by building with the cubes. They can also be used to practice measuring using the cubes as a form of nonstandard units. This is a fun way to begin comprehending larger concepts that will a part of their educational journey. Using these materials is also beneficial in developing strong fine motor skills.

The number bots also provide a fun way to look at numbers that also transform and spark the playful imagination!
