This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Stunt is a growing sport in the United States and our team is in need of basic equipment to help teach proper skills and to provide basic safety and bracing for students with minor injuries.

We need basic safety equipment to prepare and compete safely this year.

By allowing access to materials such as K Tape, first aid aid bandages and braces, members will no longer have to secure their own materials to practice safely and prevent injuries. This year, we would like to ensure that some of these items are available for students as we will have student trainers working with us this year.

Additional pieces in our project are geared toward assisting members with basic tumbling skills as well as devices for flyers to work on balancing - especially for stunts requiring one leg balancing or switching to one leg. Some of the items will be used to develop skills for team members in specific roles while others will be used by all team members for developing proper technique for individualized skills associated with the routines we must learn to compete.

With your help, we can ensure our team has the proper resources to stunt safely and to learn proper techniques. For those who obtain injuries, we will be able to provide bracing to support further injuries.
