This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are located in the heart of Brooklyn. Our students are absolutely amazing! These hardworking students are faced with so many challenges, but each day they come to school ready and eager to learn.

Our school represent so many diverse cultures, however we all come together each day to be the change our world so desperately needs.

Both students and staff are so dedicated, however the lack of resources can sometimes prevent us from reaching our goals! Help us to become college and career ready!

My Project

Hydroponics is the way of our future, we need the tools to scientifically help our students become healthy!

For $3 dollars you can get fast food but eating healthy is so much more expensive.

Our students want to research, plant and grow healthy fruits and vegetables that they can share with our entire school community. When a survey was conducted we determined that many of our young learners have never heard of or tasted common everyday produce

Help us to change this by assisting our students to get healthy, share what they have grown with our community all while meeting the new Science standards!
