My Project

I have been an elementary school teacher for almost 18 years & am very excited to learn more about how to bring yoga & mindfulness to my school (and hopefully other schools!). This is such a unique & also very much needed way to develop myself as a professional. I would love to have a kids yoga & mindfulness club at my school several days a week. I am also excited to be able to present professional development to teachers on ways they can implement mindfulness in their classrooms. In my own multilingual classroom, I plan to apply these strategies to teach students ways they can be mindful as they go about their day.
