This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students use interactive journals to learn science all year. Science comes with its own vocabulary, which is almost like learning a new language on its own. Pictures and diagrams are immensely helpful in understanding new vocabulary. Having the ability to print out pictures they have found and chosen will help reinforce vocabulary and give the students ownership in providing images for their notebooks. My goal is to have my students select and print images they understand or in some cases even create themselves to enrich their science interactive notebooks!
