Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We service middle schoolers in the South Bronx. Our students come from diverse backgrounds, residing in one of the most underserved districts in our city. They are bright, charismatic, kind, and energetic children who have the drive and passion to succeed. However, they are often faced with various obstacles like homelessness, malnutrition, mental illness, loss, abuse, and many other situations our children should not go through.

Every day they make it to school and our goal is to make it a wonderful experience.

Our children are 11-15 years old and many have the wisdom of individuals much older. Our children are gifted, they are talented, and need the resources to excel and enhance their skills. Our children have so many extraordinary ideas and my job is to ensure they come to life!

My Project

We are raising funds for scholar snacks, water bottles, hygiene products, and most importantly hats and gloves. These are our efforts to provide them with some must-haves this season. We are really hoping you will be able to help us with this and thank you in advance.

Scholars in the South Bronx struggle to get these every day supplies so this small fundraiser is a great head start in helping them in more ways than you can imagine!

Our families will be grateful and our community as a whole will flourish.
