This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my students’ curiosity, creativity, and eagerness to learn through hands-on experiences. They thrive when given opportunities to engage in interactive, problem-solving activities, and our VEX GO Robotics Club provides the perfect outlet for them to explore STEAM in an exciting and meaningful way.

The resources we’re requesting will allow our club to expand by providing additional robotics kits, parts, and tools necessary for students to build, code, and collaborate on increasingly complex projects.

These materials will help reinforce critical thinking, teamwork, and perseverance while giving students real-world applications for their learning.

Our goal for this project is to provide every student in our club with the opportunity to actively participate in designing and programming their own robots. We want to encourage a love for engineering and computer science while fostering an inclusive environment where all students, regardless of ability, can feel confident and capable.

What makes my students special is their determination to push past challenges and their enthusiasm for learning new skills. Many of them have never had access to robotics before, and this project will open doors to future STEAM opportunities they may not have otherwise considered. With your support, we can inspire the next generation of innovators and problem solvers!
