Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Arts education is extremely important in early childhood. With severe budget cuts in NYC schools, the arts is the first thing to go. Please ensure our little Picasso's have the materials they need to explore and learn through art!

I work with 18 wonderful and creative Pre-K students in NYC.

They love to learn and do art daily. My students have shown a particular interest in painting but due to our classroom missing an easel and art materials, they have had very limited opportunities to paint and do other art activities.

My Project

My class needs an art easel with a drying rack, paint, tissue paper, art cups, and display clips to show off our wonderful art work. Having these materials will allow our Pre-K artists to explore and learn through art. Everyday they will have an opportunity to paint and do art in different mediums if you donate these materials to our class.

Just as Picasso expressed himself and his creativity through painting, with these materials my students can do the same!

You never know which one of these children have it in them to be the next great artists and I hope that by you donating to this cause, they have the opportunity to find out! Please donate to this worthy cause! Thank you!
