Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Access to color printing is vital for a prekindergarten classroom! It influences every component of student learning.

Each month our class focuses on a specific topic, such as homes, transportation, plants, and transformation.

Each week we explore a question, such as: "What types of homes do people and animals need?", "Why are homes important?", or "What do homes look like in my neighborhood and other parts of the world?" Media is essential to help these concepts come alive, particularly vibrant color photos. Visuals support diverse students' learning.

Students learn foundational academic skills, such as math and literacy, through play, and we create interactive games for students, which also requires a color printer. Social-emotional lessons about sharing and asking for help come to life with images of students engaging in desired behaviors. These materials provide to serve as models.

It is the most essential investment that will support and enhance my classroom.
