My Project

The mobile whiteboards will make a difference by giving my kindergarteners a hands-on, interactive way to practice writing, drawing, and problem-solving. They will encourage collaboration, creativity, and engagement while helping develop fine motor skills and confidence in early literacy and math. My goal for this project is to create a dynamic learning environment where students can actively participate, share ideas, and explore new concepts in a fun, screen-free way.

During literacy time, they will practice letter formation, sight words, and storytelling by drawing pictures and writing simple sentences.

In math, they will use the whiteboards to solve number problems, create patterns, and demonstrate their thinking with drawings and equations. For group activities, students will collaborate on sorting and matching games, brainstorming ideas, and responding to read-alouds by illustrating their understanding. These whiteboards will also support small-group instruction, allowing me to work with students at different skill levels while they practice independently or with peers. By making learning hands-on and engaging, these tools will help my students build confidence and a love for learning.

What makes my students special is their curiosity, energy, and eagerness to learn. They come to school everyday, excited to explore the world around them, and these whiteboards will give them a new tool to express their ideas and grow as learners.
