Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am now a Kindergarten Teacher and I am extending our Weekly Weekend Food Bag, Program to our new students.

It's important to make sure that our students in our Kindergarten program have access to good food that is quick, and easy to prepare to ensure they can have healthier food choices when they are not in school and YOU can help us get our program back up and running again!

We see on a daily basis how our students come in on Mondays hungry / tired cause their families are struggling to make ends meet with the little that they do have.

We want to change this narrative by providing the food bags to each Kindergarten student to help their families stretch their budgets and be able to provide food for their little ones in their time of need.

The tuna, mac & cheese, water, snacks and hot / cold cereals are needed to make this program work for the benefit of our students.
