Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our kindergartners have always had an end of the year Graduation Ceremony. It is such a special time for them to celebrate their accomplishments. Their families join us and it is so much fun. We ask the children to dress up nicely for the special event.

However, we have noticed that some families don’t have the ability to buy a whole new outfit to wear for just one event.

So we decided to have them wear graduation gowns so that everyone can feel special on this day. This way, no one will feel left out if their family can’t afford a new outfit.

We are hoping for your help in providing these gowns for our students. The sets include the gown and the hats and we know they are going to be so excited to have this special set to wear. Also, we will then be able to keep the set for future kindergarten students as well.
