My Students

My kindergarteners may be small, but do not let their size fool you. These kids have the biggest hearts and the strongest drive to succeed. They aren’t afraid to ask questions, try new things, and create their own plans for solving problems. Their curiosity, warm personalities, and desire to learn are inspiring. Even though 81% of our students receive free or reduced-price lunches at our Title I school, they are still able to overcome these challenges and flourish. They’re trailblazers!

My Project

By donating to this project, you will be giving my students the basic supplies they need to create a wide variety of art projects as they learn remotely at home. My kindergarteners will use the oil pastels, paints, paper, and markers to create art based on different cultures and artists. They will use the Play-Doh to build sculptures and still life projects. They will even have the opportunity to build and decorate a bird house to go with our science unit about animals and their needs, which is integrated with the arts.
