This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items in this list already have a home and a purpose. We are a new program and are doing our best to create a vibrant classroom, and also have the materials needed so that we can compete on the same level as more established debate clubs. The generous donations that you give support this goal.

The paper and ink, as well as cardstock, will go a long way.

We are constantly printing our forms, articles, and information so that students have hard copies of all materials needed. Sometimes wifi is sketchy, so all students need physical copies.

Although we are a new club, I have students who have shown great potential, and have already placed in competitions. My students are economically challenged, and can't afford a lot beyond the basics. I try to provide all I can, and the donations you make mean a lot. These students that I have are special. Even though they struggle financially, they do not let that become their identity. They work hard and do well. I am enormously proud of them. They make getting up at 4 am worthwhile.
