Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At my school, the students that come to my after-school club are so amazing. My club lets students not only get to learn how to create new dishes and recipes but they get to enjoy the dishes they make and do these at home with their family.

The students love going to my club and sometimes I get so many but have to turn them away because I don’t have enough supplies to feed/support everyone.

With these materials being purchased, the money I do get towards the club can go straight to food instead of the supplies needed. These air fryers and hotplates will give the students an opportunity to learn how to cook and bake as a small group in the classroom.

Hopefully maybe with these supplies, my club can turn into an elective course. The students would greatly appreciate the donation and will enjoy the use of being able to put their skills to the test.
