My Project

The pandemic caused a massive gap in our children's reading ability. Students are incredibly behind and under grade level ability. Although we did our best to keep learning going during the pandemic, many students thought remote learning was optional and were present, but not, during it. This caused them to have more social anxiety and created a lack of growth, particularly in their reading skills. The headphones in particular in this grant will be used to help students access a 1:1 reading program that Covid funds provided the district. It allows kids to have help with phonics, word study, and grammar based on their current ability in reading. It is personalized in every way and the headphones allow them privacy and the ability to access the program. The mindfulness cards will help them with their social angst post-COVID, and the cleaning supplies will be our attempt to keep students in the school when the season begins again.

I work for the best school in the world.

It contains 40 different languages and we welcome students from around the globe who have been impacted by major disasters in their home countries. That said, many of them don't have money to buy these items for themselves. Help me to bless them. Thank you!
