My Students

For the majority of my students, school is their safe zone. My classroom is the one place they know they can come to and feel secure and supported. My goal is to mold my classroom into a comfortable space that will allow their inquisitive minds to flourish.

My Project

In my third grade classroom, small groups are an integral part of every day. Due to Covid, we have had to make very many adjustments in the classroom in order to keep every student safe. One of the adjustments we have made is limited movement in the classroom. Usually when my students participate in small groups, they physically get up and move from station to station. That, however, is not possible anymore. This rolling cart will allow me to roll the station materials from group to group - this will prevent the students from having to move by making the center work mobile. The picture storage boxes I am requesting will also be used to help organize and house various task cards. Again, this will allow the task cards to move from group to group without the students having to get up and spread germs!
