This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For the first time, I will be teaching an amazing group of 2nd-grade students this year! I am asking for binders, tabs, sheet protectors, a laminator, and lamination pouches to make their school-to-home binders that will contain all subjects to enable them to keep their studies organized and have tools to reference at both home and school. Each student will receive a personalized binder where I will place learning references, mini anchor charts, assignments, and communication pieces for students to reference daily! These binders will grow with the students and allow parents to reference in real time what skills are being taught. Each binder will go home and return to school daily! There will also be a place for parent/school communication section to keep parents involved in their students education!
