Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Imagine a classroom where every student can find their focus, reduce stress, and fully engage in learning—just by having the right seat. Movement is key to helping middle schoolers stay engaged, especially for students who struggle with attention and executive function. That’s why I’m raising funds to bring two rocking chairs and four yoga ball seats into my Civics classroom.

These flexible seating options will allow my students to move gently while working, helping them concentrate, regulate emotions, and feel more comfortable as they learn.

For students with ADHD, executive dysfunction, or sensory needs, movement isn’t a distraction—it’s a tool for success!
