it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am seeking incentives to create a Social Emotional Learning
(SEL)foundation in my classroom, focused on self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.
Today's students face an
overwhelming amount of information from school, home, and social media. I want to support them by providing valuable, creative, and positive outlets that will help them learn to self-manage their emotions and develop essential skills for responsible decision-making.
By incorporating a range of social-emotional activities and reflection opportunities, along with incentives to foster meaningful relationships as I aim to give students the autonomy to take charge of their decision-making from the very beginning.
Developing relationship skills and social awareness is crucial for their growth, and I hope to create a low-stress environment where they can engage with me and their peers. Together, we can cultivate these lifelong skills and positively impact their journey in society. These snack incentives create the bedrock for creating this SEL classroom.
