Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My amazing students come from a Title I school with very few resources. Due to their socio-economic background, many students come to class without breakfast. I would like to provide my students with snacks so that they are able to focus and engage in their learning instead of worrying about their hunger. These amazing kids have the love and drive to succeed in school.

I would also love to give them assignment handouts with colored images.

The use of a colored printer will go a long way in helping students identify various scientific phenomena. Our school printers only print in black and white. It is also usual for them to be busy, broken, or out of copies for the individual teachers.

These curious little scienists are interested in learning about everything. This year they are gaining precious lab experiences that will help fuel their knowledge into high school and beyond.
